| The only dual type Gym in the Ko Region, Pua Gym is led by a Askley, a Grass Type specialist, and his wife, Olean Joy, a Poison Type specialist. Together they accept challenges in the form of double battles. At first, you discover that they've gone to the Vitamin Needle so you'll have to go track them down before you can battle.
Both leaders use the move "Bramble", which sends patches of bramble weeds out into the arena, randomly dealing damage to every participant. If bramble is used a second time, it will randomly poison players in the field.
The Awa Badge is carved from the bark of a medicinal plant that can be found in the Zinc Preserve.
