About
Because they are so plentiful and varied, scientists have given it the number 000 in the Ko Pokedex.

It comes in dozens of different designs and colors. It is a water type, but can be taught moves of other types, depending on the color of the star on its forehead. It can only learn moves of other types at the Butterbow Daycare.

There is rare Butterbow exclusive to the Safari Zone of the KO Region. It has morphed over time from being separated from other Butterbows of the areas. The Safari Zone Butterbows' isolation contributed to the fins being larger and rounder for attracting other Butterbows. Because these Butterbow are in the Safari Zone, they are protected naturally. Their beaks and tails are also slightly larger. Their typing is Grass/Ground, despite being a fish.
