Effects A Chile Pepper is a hold fruit that gives a 30% chance of giving the opponent a status change upon physical contact (like the "static" ability). The pepper is then used up. The status change depends on which type of chile pepper. Green is poison, red is burn, yellow is paralyzation, and blue is frozen. They grow on small vines that run along walking paths. Apparently they grow better along worn paths, because kicked-up dust makes them healthier.
